Each year, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce partners with the US Small Business Administration, the SC Department of Commerce, the South Carolina Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, and the SC Manufacturing Extension Partnership to recognize local small business leaders in several categories.
State awards categories are: Female Small Business Person of the Year, Minority Small Business Person of the Year, Veteran Small Business Person of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
